Sue Chin-Smith

Interior Designer
+ Studio Operations

Dip. Int. Des. – Marleston Tafe

"I am a firm believer that our surrounding space should feel right for positive integration within one’s soul.  As well as creating a functional design, a considered approach that acknowledges a client’s preference in how they want to live is paramount."

Sue has been with TSD for over 20 years and in that time has taken the running of the office into her capable hands. Her experience across a range of industries ensures the office operates smoothly enabling the rest of the team to concentrate on what they do best.

Sue has also completed her own Interior Design Studies meaning the Interior Design department has grown and providing us with more options for delivering quality solutions for our clients. Her strengths are colour and finishes, offering a complementary flair to the design team. She loves to create a beautiful interplay between textures, material and colour. She is adept with product knowledge and keeps abreast of latest materials and finishes, which ensures her clients are well informed on choices.

Her years of working as part of the industry means that Sue already has a sound knowledge foundation upon which to base her career as a designer, something that is already obvious in the way she undertakes her project work in the office.
